POWERBOSS: The steady performer!

In April 2015 AI presented 515HO00231 Vekis DG POWERBOSS as the new interesting allrounder. At that time POWERBOSS was strong on production (PTA Milk and components), health traits and type.

Now four years later and with over 500 daughters in his proof, POWERBOSS has proven to be a real steady performer. POWERBOSS is still known as an all-round improver (PTAM +580 lbs with +0.11 % Fat & +0.08% Protein) in combination with strong health traits with a special attention for 2.70 SCS (Somatic Cell Score) and +3.3 PL (Productive Life). Daughters are normal sized cows with good Feet & Legs (+0.97 FLC) and strong udders (+1.54 UDC). To make it even more clearer, POWERBOSS is the only bull within the breed with a minimum of +580 lbs PTA Milk with positive components and a minimum of +0.97 FLC. The beta casein A2A2 makes the package complete.

Besides a beautiful proof on USA base, POWERBOSS also ranks well on the Dutch base with +299 NVI built up by +684 days for longevity, high milk (+1077 Kg) with positive components (+0.18% Fat & +0.09% Protein), beautiful health traits and 113 for Udder.
